Thai Bourse To Conduct Roadshow In U.S., London From Late June

BANGKOK -(Dow Jones)- The Stock Exchange of Thailand's U.S. and U.K. roadshow, designed to showcase major Thai companies to fund managers, will start at the end of this week, the bourse said Monday.

More than 50 fund managers from 40 asset management funds in each city visited are expected to attend, it added.

The bourse, accompanied by Thanachart Securities, BNP Paribas Securities ( Asia) and nine other listed companies, will visit Boston and New York during June 25-26 and London during June 29-30, it said in a statement.

Listed companies joining the roadshow with a combined market capitalization of THB1.7 trillion ($49.77 billion) include Thailand's largest mobile phone operator by subscribers Advanced Info Service PCL (ADVANC.TH), Thailand's largest lender by assets Bangkok Bank PCL (BBL.TH), energy conglomerate PTT PCL (PTT.TH), national carrier Thai Airways International PCL (THAI.TH) and the country's largest canned and frozen seafood processor, Thai Union Frozen Products PCL (TUF.TH).

The exchange will visit London again during July 6-9 along with Deutsche Bank, TISCO Securities and five other listed companies, including Thailand's largest agricultural conglomerate Charoen Pokphand Foods PCL (CPF.TH), refiner IRPC PCL (IRPC.TH) and PTT Chemical PCL (PTTCH.TH).
