CB&I awarded $60 million Thailand contract

Chicago Bridge & Iron Co. NV has been awarded a $60 million construction contract by Star Petroleum Refining Co.

Netherlands-based CB&I (NYSE: CBI), which has a worldwide administrative office in The Woodlands, will build a new jet fuel processing plant and storage and shipping systems for Star in Thailand.

The projects are scheduled for completion in 2009.

Star Petroleum Refining Co. is a joint venture between San Ramon, Calif.-based Chevron Corp. and Thailand gas company PTT Public Co. Ltd.
